Malcolm Dunn came to us to record his debut album, this album he explained was 30 years in the making. We recorded his songs with his friends Whiskey Bob and Gerald Claridge under the band name 'Dunn Wiv Whiskey' and was really impressed with his songwriting abilities - the Ralph McTell influence was evident, we also heard Cat Stevens sensibilities as the songs were sincere, heartfelt and emotive. Malcolm has a great voice too as smooth as a classic crooner, but with an edge he uses to emphasise the edgier themes than Sinatra would ever of attempted. We really enjoyed helping Malcolm realise a long held dream. He's gone on to greater things since with a host of releases under his belt and some great headline slots at shows.
